An Arrangement of Love (Interracial Erotic Romance) – [kindle edition] 99¢ or FREE through Kindle Unlimited

He kissed me. And not just any kiss. He kissed me like he owned me, as if he bought me last night and my orgasm was the payment. His tongue didn’t explore my mouth instead it taunted me, gliding in and out between my lips in a rhythm that reminded me of hot sex. He shifted his hand to the back of my head and trapped me to him. My bag and its contents dropped to the floor. . .

What would you do for six figures?

Billionaire Chase Stone offers Jasmine a six-figure job that requires a full-time commitment in his office as well as his bed. If only she knew that before she agreed, then life would’ve been easier. It’s not that he’s unattractive. Jasmine just didn’t graduate from Harvard with honors so she could be some rich guy’s over paid mistress. What’s even more repulsing is that he lives with three women and wants her to be the fourth.

Not going to happen!

But Chase won’t give up, and Jasmine won’t give in. Someone’s going to have to change because the more they meet, the more something thick, hot, and electric bridges between them, until neither can breathe or think.

A solid 3.5 Stars

I picked up this book forever ago because I knew it would come in handy if ever I had a reading challenge; billionaire, interracial romance, payment for services… I now wish that I had read it a lot earlier, because it was really good and now I want to know what’s going to happen… because as you guessed it, there is a book that follows this one.

Of course it’s not perfect there are some annoying traits from both characters. Well maybe not so much Jasmine. I enjoyed the fact that the story was told strictly from her side. She’s very entertaining and her character is written very naturally. I like that she has a no nonsense attitude and that she challenges her unusual situation rather than going with the follow. This just isn’t that type of book. The situation at best is really odd and this is where I have the most problem with Chase.

In general, I just don’t find his character appealing. He hovers between sweet and cuddly, but portrayed as a dominant man over his “harem”. He doesn’t ever consistently seem to be one over the other. So where I think I’m supposed to embrace him as this amazingly sexy alpha male. He comes across as his sloppy, skeezy, wet hug of a man. I’m just so confused by him. He just doesn’t have book boyfriend written all over him and this is why I can’t give this book anything but a solid 3.5.

The story is great, it’s wild and crazy and holy shit, what is going on with that ending? I couldn’t put it down. Not because of the romance factor, but because of the, jeez oh Pete drama. This book is what soap opera are made out of, a series of unbelievable events spiraling out of control, some “romance” and (semi) steamy sex and you’ve got yourself a story.

Unfortunately I’ve got some other pressing books ahead of the next one in this series, but I have decided to bump it up. Because mercy sakes, I just have to know what in the hell is in the store for Jasmine and Chase. I’m hoping that there are some twists and turns to wrap up some fuck up story lines from this book.

This is most certainly a book I would recommend to my friends and fellow readers. In fact, I’ve already had one friend pick this up and she’s as sucked in as I am.

This is definitely worth the 99¢ price tag. Well written, a rollercoaster of a ride and some pretty good sex scenes, though I find them to be a little lacking, in the quantity department only. It advertises itself as erotica. A small smattering of scenes, does not an erotica make, in my opinion. Other than that. A good unexpected read that I all hope you find the time to read one day.

I Can’t Feel Sorry For You

Always honest and always appreciated!

I do try and give advice, the advice I give it from a males point of view. I am not here to lie to you , nor do I have a reason to lie. People lie because they have something to gain.
I do not even know you, so if you think about it I have zero anything to gain. Did that make sense ?
Why do I share with you? Because I do not want you to go through some of the things women have gone through with me in the past.
I have been on the predators side, I have been on the hunt for easy prey. I knew who and what to look for. I would use and use until I grew tired of you, or maybe I would just get tired of you being fucking needy, or your whining got on my nerves. Maybe I fed…

“I’m not sure what you have been told about me, but I’m not nearly as bad as they make me out to be.” His deliciously deep voice carried a little bit of ego.

Pre-law student Julia Campbell is fresh off a failed engagement and happy with her new independence. Even if she weren’t warned away from Brad at every turn, she’d know he was bad news. The last thing she needs is a man who could destroy her job prospects, not to mention her innocence. But before she knows it, the incorrigible charmer has her under his spell. His deviant tastes plunge her deep into a forbidden world of sexual exploration…but her heart may not survive the fall.

Masked Innocence – [kindle edition] currently 99¢

The man was sinful. It wasn’t just the looks that made him dangerous, it was the cocky confidence that dominated every move, every touch. And the frustrating yet ecstatic fact about the whole package was that he could back it all up…
Julia Campbell never knows what to expect with win-at-all-costs Brad De Luca. And she’s starting to like it that way. She gave up safe, conventional relationships when she let the elite divorce attorney seduce her into his world. Now that he’s determined to strip her naked of every inhibition, she’s in danger of falling too deep and too fast.
But their affair begins to feel even more dangerous when a murder leaves a trail of suspicion that points straight to the mob…and Brad. Trusting a man with a bad reputation and a past full of secrets seems like a mistake. But when she’s forced to make a choice, the consequences will take her further than she could ever have imagined.

End of the Innocence – [kindle edition] $3.99

He thought I owned him. He thought he loved me, that I was enough. But this animal, this sex god who could drive me crazy and steal my heart in the same breath, he would never fully be mine. It was impossible. No one ever owned a God…

One year. I have one year to find out more about this man I am marrying. More about his family. More about our sex, and all of the dirty, delicious places it will take me.

I thought I’d spend this year making a decision. I never thought the decision would be taken from me, snatched right from my naive little hands.

Top Three Things I Learned from Cherry Adair

Silken Sheets & Seduction

Rachel KenleyThis past weekend I took the opportunity to join the Connecticut RWA at their Master Class with New York Times best-selling author Cherry Adair.  I’ve been a fan of her books – now, I am a fan of hers.  It was a very fun weekend and while a good deal of what she talked about was, for me, much needed review, there were some important things I learned.

  1. YOUR CHARACTER’S BACK STORY IS EVERYTHINGCherry_Adair

It’s not something you dump into your narrative – that will bore the reader, but it is what informs who the character is when the story starts.  What have they done?  What have they overcome?  What scares them and why?  How did they become the person they are – because this is going to shape how they accept (or don’t accept) the journey you, the writer, are about to put them on.

I knew that…

Hello Lovelies!

woman_reading_book_1346786627

I’ve been reading quite a bit over the past couple of weeks and I haven’t had the chance to write-up reviews.   Not to say that I don’t have anything to say about these books, because I do.

Some of them have been intense romances, some sexual endeavors into areas that I have never even heard of (hotwifing?!?) and my current read a sweet pornographic story.  It’s not what you think.

Part of my problem is that I have been horribly distracted by work.  It’s just been so busy and I’m trying to keep my head just above water.  I actually have to work on my self appraisal today and I am not happy about that at all.  It’s not that I don’t mind writing about myself, it’s just I find it to be a stupid and pointless process.  No sense in gripping though, it still has to get done!

I’ll do my best to post more sales and new releases or releases of interest as I come across them.  Until then, keep it naughty lovelies.
