I hate him…

I hate that I fell in love with him, I hate that he didn’t love me back, and I hate the fact that I just made a life-altering decision just so I could get the hell away from him.

He’d always said that he was unchangeable, heartless, and cold…

I really should’ve believed him…

I loved this series, from the very start through to the end, I just loved it. I’m so glad that the author went longer with the finale. It needed it. There seemed to be so much going on in the two other books that the thought of a short finish wouldn’t have done it just. What we got, was pretty near perfect.

Aubrey and Andrews romance has been unconventional to say the least. They met through a lawyer chat forum. She ends up working at the lawyer firm, and then madness follows. It’s that good madness though, the kind where you sit back watch it all play out and hope that the players find their way to each other. It’s not always easy, of course, there are bumps ahead, misunderstanding, mis-communication, good intentions with the worse possible results, but ultimately it all works out.

No matter how horrible Andrew was, no matter how sharp his tongue, I wanted him to get what he wanted. He was so enjoyable. He had no boundaries no matter how many Aubrey created and it was great watching him trying to rip through them as he worked tirelessly to get what he wanted. I love that he was unapologetic and romantic in the same breath. So what, that his brand of romance wasn’t the traditional sense. But he was still a romantic.

He and Aubrey were written so perfectly for each other. I loved that she never took his shit and called him on it when appropriate. It was great to see her move on when time called for it, that she was still driven to be her own person, even when her romantic life was falling apart around her.
The story wraps up a lot of points that it established across the three books. We learn how Andrew became the man that he is and I’m glad that time was spent on that, though honestly I was happy to think that it was just a natural part of his personality.

This series definitely makes me interested in reading more of Whitney G’s books if this is any indication of what her writing is like. She has a great way of evoking emotions through her characters. I could feel each of their pain, was consumed in the love that these two characters had for each other. I would put this on my re-read list and I highly recommend it.

∞ It’s a Release Day Blitz – Reasonable Doubt 3 – Whitney G. ∞

Another book released today that everyone needs to get now! This is another series that I am utterly in love with and I can’t wait to find out how it ends because based on the two other books, it didn’t look like it was going to end well.

Pre-Order: Silk [Kindle Edition] 99¢ – Multiple Authors

Apparently anthologies are the latest trend to be hitting the Amazon virtual shelves. Thank goodness, because it saves me money and I get to read books that I would have ended up paying more for in the long run. So thank you authors!! I imagine this is a great way to get folks introduced to multiple authors in one go, so to speak.  As well as a potential new series. **Please be warned that some of these books are part of a series and may be the final installment, so be wary! **  You don’t want to start reading something, come to find out that it’s the end.

This particular set comes out Monday, June 9th.  I’ve included snap shots of book covers and if you click on each cover it will take you to the amazon page where there is a better summary of the story.  Where I could, I’ve also indicated where something is part of a series or the end of a series etc…

Also you may notice that some of the anthologies that I’ve posted may have duplicate books.  So until June 9th!
